Client Testimonial

“The Martinsville Community Center was in dire need of an updated website, and Chris Schueler came to the rescue! Chris met with members of the Board to understand our needs and direction, then created an informative, easy-to-navigate, and professional website for the MCC. Based on her skills and experience, Chris designed the website to be intuitive for visitors and easy for the Board to maintain. She documented all of the technical information so that the MCC can post new information whenever necessary. It was a pleasure to work with Chris and I would highly recommend her if anyone needs a website developed or updated.” Jane W. Gandolfe

Project Summary

Website: www.martinsvillecommunitycenter.org

Client Name: Martinsville Community Center

Business: The Martinsville Community Center’s mission is to improve the quality of community and family life by creating and maintaining an inter-generational and cross-cultural center that provides social, health, recreational, educational and creative arts opportunities.

Customer Requirements: The Martinsville Community Center came to us looking to update their website to better showcase the community center and its various offerings. Their original site had been done in WordPress but had not been maintained in quite some time.

Our Solution: We redesigned the entire site using WordPress to be responsive and look great on all devices (mobile and desktop) and allow the MCC to update their own content. We reorganized the content on the site and added pages to better depict their various community services. SEO keywords were added to all pages to increase search rankings. Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools accounts were set up to help track the traffic to the site. Domain specific e-mail accounts were set up for their board and committee members. All pages were validated and checked for quick download response time.

Website Status: The new website was completed in December 2014 and turned over to the MCC staff. We continue to help maintain the website and make changes as needed by the client.

Services Donated: Top Notch Technology donated our services to create the website for this non-profit organization.
